About the event
We are excited to announce our inaugural
“Sponsor An Elder” Easter Program!
We will be surprising our elders that are stuck in nursing homes and hospice care this Easter morning, with hand delivered Spring/Easter themed floral arrangements in hopes of making their Easter a bit brighter! 🌷👵🏻💜
Just like our “Sponsor An Elder” Christmas Program, these Spring themed Easter arrangements are valued at $38, but we are only asking $20 a sponsorship.
We will again be matching all sponsorships as well. Meaning, if you sponsor 1 elder, BloomHouse23 sponsors 1 elder. If you sponsor 10 elders, BloomHouse23 sponsors 10 elders! 🙌
Your $20 sponsorship gets your name, or your family’s last name on the card tag of the arrangement and will bring so much happiness to our elderly community come Easter morning!
All card tags on these arrangements will read “Happy Easter from (your name)!”
Examples:
“Happy Easter from
The Bardens🐰”
“Happy Easter from
The Easter Bunny🐰”
“Happy Easter from
Joe’s Construction LLC 🐰”
We can’t imagine our “Sponsor An Elder” Easter program getting as big as our “Sponsor An Elder” Christmas program, where we surprised just over 800 elders with Christmas themed arrangements on Christmas morning, but in the event it does, we will have a signup sheet in-store for anyone that would want to help us arrange or help us deliver the arrangements on Easter morning!
For a small glimpse into why we do this, or the happiness your $20 sponsorship can bring this Easter morning, please click the NBC 26 or FOX 11 News links below ⬇️

WHY WE DO THIS…
For me, my Nana Loretta was my very best friend growing up. Her favorite holidays were Christmas and Easter. I’m sure that Christmas being the birth of Jesus and Easter being the resurrection of Jesus played a major part as to why these were her two favorite holidays. She was the classiest and kindest woman I have ever known. She was always praying for those that were sick, putting others needs before her own, helping with school projects, and always giving to others!! She instilled my love for the elderly community so much that in 8th grade a fellow classmate and I volunteered our time at our local nursing home just to spend time with our elderly community and brighten their days.
When I became an adult, I traveled between 12-18 nursing homes a day all over the country testing pacemakers and ICD defibrillators.
My career choice didn’t make me financially wealthy but it made my heart wealthy as can be, and I knew it would have made my Nana proud! All of my patients were so grateful for the mere minutes I spent with them testing their pacemakers.
However, it broke my heart that in all the years I spent in nursing homes, I could single handily count how many times I saw the elderly community get visitors, much less flowers 😢
For Zak, he is exceptionally close with his grandmothers. His Grandma Marlene is one of our favorite people. She actually helped us renovate our entire store before we opened - Without her help, our store wouldn’t look half as nice as it does today. In the warmer months, Grandma Marlene also helps tend to our flower farm.
I live by the words of a wise woman who once said: “Without our elders, none of us would be here.”
If you’d like to be a part of an AMAZING cause that is very near and dear to our hearts, and VERY MUCH appreciated by our elders, please consider sponsoring an elder this Easter season!
Our goal is to get 100 sponsorships, so that with our match, 200 elders are surprised and felt extra loved this Easter morning. However, we understand that money is tight for all and our two biggest passions (animal welfare and our elderly community) might now be everyone's cup of tea, so even if we don’t reach our goal, we will still be surprising a minimum of 100 elders stuck inside nursing homes this Easter morning 🌷👵🏻💜
Sponsorships can be made over the Phone, In~Store or Online at www.BloomHouse23.com/classes
Thank you for reading, for sponsoring and for sharing! 🙏
