ABOUT
The BloomHouse23 Story
Meet Zak
Hi there! I’m Zak Pasdo and many of you may know me, my family or my grandparents, Marlene and Rick Klimek (rest in peace grandpa, Rick). We have been longtime residents of the Coleman and Peshtigo areas and we take great pride in our Northern Wisconsin communities. I love my family and friends more than anything! I went to Coleman grade school and high school and then worked at the school for 11 years, before leaving in early 2022 to follow my dreams of becoming a florist and opening a floral & home decor studio with my partner and the love of my life, Cody.
I’ve ALWAYS had a deep love for everything floral and plant related as I've been working with flowers for as long as I can remember. One of my biggest joys is working on my flower farm – big shoutout to my grandma Marlene, who not only lets me use her land for farming but also helps me care for it! We’re so proud that we are able to produce beautiful, locally grown flowers for our community. I’d like to thank all of our flower subscription customers who have repeatedly come back each year. The fact that you love the flowers we produce makes my job even more enjoyable each and every day!
What else do I love? Let's see...
-
All things Disney! 🏰
-
Joanna Gaines & her HGTV show Fixer Upper (Cody & I dressed up as Chip & Joanna this past Halloween. Guess who was Joanna?! 🙋🏻♂️😂🤦🏻♂️)
-
Ball mason jars (Blue to be exact)
-
Chippy paint furniture! I’m constantly on the lookout for old dressers that I can fix up with a little TLC 🪵 🔨
Meet Cody
It's so nice to meet you! I'm Cody Barden, co-owner of BloomHouse23. I hail from Chicago, but moved up to Coleman in 2021 after finding my better half! 🥰 Zak is not just my business partner, but my partner in life and best friend! I was nervous to move from a city of 3 million to a small town of 800, but am continuously overwhelmed by the amount of love, support, and kindness that the people of Coleman have shown us! Thank you!
I’m obsessed with home interiors, fashion and anything LEGO - I’m really a kid at heart 😜! My grandma “Nana” was my very best friend growing up and I love doing what I can to volunteer and support our elderly. I’m also very passionate about helping gunshot victims and hope that one day I can start a foundation to help fellow survivors heal.
I’m excited you’re here and I can’t wait to learn more about you, the way you decorate your house, your vision for your home, how I could help make that vision a reality, and more importantly, your story!! I’m horrible with names but I rarely forget a friendly face. Let's meet!
What else? Well... I love:
